Jeremy Kirk
 
Jeremy Kirk is a correspondent based in London. He joined IDG full-time in August 2005 and moved to the United Kingdom after freelancing for the News Service from Seoul, South Korea. For five years in Seoul, Jeremy covered military affairs for Pacific Stars and Stripes, the overseas newspaper for the U.S. military. His final year in Seoul consisted of freelancing for publications such as the Washington Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, Newsday and the Wall Street Journal.

Jeremy is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a degree in journalism and political science. With the News Service, he covers computer security and Microsoft Corp., but from day-to-day his coverage can vary according to the breaking news within the U.K. and Europe. Jeremy frequently travels in Europe tech conferences, covering keynotes of industry luminaries shaping the future of the Internet and IT.
