Event profile:
The CIO Indochina Conference and Awards is an initiative of IDG Vietnam. Throughout our 13 years of experience in Vietnam's ICT industry, we have observed a strong need to accelerate the application of IT in both the government and private sectors in order for Vietnam and other countries in the region to make full use of technologies in the Information Age. In order to do this, organizations need a deep understanding of the importance of IT and the appropriate information management techniques to improve their operations and overall management. This fact signifies the importance of the CIO position.

In order to promote the contribution of CIOs to ICT development within organizations, IDG Vietnam has proudly presented the annual CIO Indochina Conference & Awards since 2006.
