Wireless Events: IDG Conference Poll - Security Tops 'Wireless Concerns'

IDG's Computerworld reported that attendees of its recent Mobile & Wireless World conference held at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort in Palm Desert, Calif., named security concerns as the main barrier to greater enterprise wi-fi installation. IDG said that an onsite audience poll found that 46 percent of attendees cited "security concerns" at the main barrier, outpacing "budget and ROI considerations" (33 percent), "manageability and lack of tools" (16 percent) and "interoperability" (5 percent).
