Survey By CSO Magazine

If there were a terrorist attack on the company you work for, chances are your employer would not have a plan in place to deal with it. A survey by CSO magazine finds 61 percent--almost two-thirds--of American companies have no plans to deal with weapons of mass destruction or unconventional attacks. CSO questioned 476 chief security executives; 63 percent of the firms do have contingency plans for bombings and hostage taking, and 80 percent say they're prepared to handle violent attacks by employees.
