Word is Jane Pauley and John Kerry will be the guests of honor at Friday's opening of the McGovern Institute for Brain Research at MIT. The new institute is named for International Data Group founder Pat McGovern and his wife, entrepreneur Lore Harp McGovern, whose generous donation of $350 million made the place possible. At Friday's event, Pauley is expected to talk about her struggles with bipolar disorder, while Kerry will make an announcement about brain research.
