Worldwide IT Spending In 2007 Seen Slowing From 2006 Rate

As the end of 2006 approaches, two of the major technology industry research firms reiterated outlooks that growth rates in spending would slow in 2007. Forrester Research expects the worldwide industry growth rate for next year to slow to 5 percent, the slowest rate since 2003. Worldwide spending for information technology goods and services will reach nearly $1.6 trillion, according to the firm.
