IDG unveils video game enthusiast site Games.net

IDG Entertainment, the publisher of such magazines as GamePro, said on Wednesday it launched Games.net, a Web site for video game enthusiasts. The company, a wholly owned subsidiary of privately held International Data Group, said the site will include gaming news, product reviews, downloads and "cheats" -- hints and instructions aimed at improving game play. IDG Entertainment's other gaming properties and affiliates include GamePro.com, GamerHelp.com, GameDownloads.com, GamersHell.com, GameTrailers.com, MegaGames.com and Wireless Gaming World.
