New technology on tap at DEMOfall convention

In less than two hours Tuesday, 16 companies demonstrated why they have the next big technology to an exclusive audience of potential investors, partners and techies. And that was before the 10:30 a.m. coffee break. The companies, some with just three minutes to make a case, hope to join the success stories claimed by DEMOfall, a twice-annual meeting of new ideas. DEMO is where Tivo, Palm and Java all got a jumpstart.
