WSJ: Storage Systems Sales Rise 6% In First Quarter - IDC

Unceasing growth of digital information continues to lift data-storage sales, even as prices fall and corporate buyers move to less expensive types of machines, according to a survey from market researcher IDC. Sales of data-storage systems, which companies use to house their information, were $5.47 billion in the first quarter, up 6% from the same period a year ago.
