Press & CIO Magazine Receive High Honors from ASBPE in Website of the Year & Magazine of the Year Categories

• Editorial & Design Recognition as CIO Magazine Celebrates 25th Anniversary

Framingham, Mass. – August 8, 2012 – IDG’s CIO, the executive-level IT media brand providing insight into business technology leadership, announces that received honorable mention for BtoB Website of the Year and CIO magazine was named one of the Top 10 Magazines of the Year at the 2012 Azbee Awards presented by ASBPE. These awards are in addition to eleven awards in specific categories ranging from editor’s letters to feature article design.

This year has revamped the blog section, including an expansion of coverage areas as well as expanded  number of bloggers. Additionally, CIO has focused on integrating social channels into the site as well as tools for the editors to engage with IT decision-makers and share relevant articles.

Additionally, CIO magazine continues its trend on producing a stellar publication and these editorial and design awards highlight this excellence as the magazine approaches its 25th anniversary in September.  In 2009, the magazine underwent a full redesign to incorporate new topic areas that are relevant to the executive-level subscriber audience and provide an opportunity to discuss business strategy and IT innovation in a concise and informative manner.
