IDC Launches Enhanced, Re-designed IDC.com
FRAMINGHAM, MA – MAY 1, 2000 – Affirming IDC's commitment to provide insightful, unbiased, and actionable information, the company today launched its redesigned corporate Web site at www.idc.com.
The new idc.com, in addition to a fresh, easy-to-navigate look and feel, features weekly analyst spotlights, a Research Store, and sections targeted toward specific audience and technology segments.

Updated pages at idc.com include:
— Analyst spotlight — Each week IDC features a different analyst from one of its worldwide research programs, answering questions about his/her area of specialty.
— Guest accounts — Guests may use IDC's "saved search" and email notification system and be automatically updated when research of interest is published. IDC has simplified this process, making it easier and quicker to obtain a Guest account.
— Research Store — IDC's Store spotlights the company's research on the hottest IT markets, and features a research catalog with more than 6,500 research documents. During the first half of FY 2000 (October 1999 — March 2000), IDC's eCommerce sales increased 389% over the comparable period in 1999. IDC has streamlined the online purchasing process, enabling quicker transactions and immediate access to desired research. In addition, the Research Store also includes free research, which changes periodically.
