IDC’s Fifth European IT Banking Forum To Focus On Ebanking
LONDON — NOVEMBER 2, 2000 — Having successfully negotiated the challenges of the Y2K date change and Euro conversion, and battled against the global giants, European banks now face competition from a wide range of non-banking players offering financial services to their customer base. IDC's fifth annual European IT Banking Forum, which takes place November 27th and 28th, 2000 in Milan, will give an in-depth picture of the most successful strategies for banks to help them take advantage of the ebusiness revolution.
"The concept of banking is changing entirely, forcing traditional players to rethink their organizations and strategies completely," said Barbara Blesio, program manager of IDC's European Banking service.
