IDG and eBay Develop Marketing, Cross-Promotional Program
BOSTON, MA – JULY 24, 2001 – International Data Group (IDG), the world's leading IT media and information services company, today announced a marketing and cross-promotional agreement with eBay® (Nasdaq: EBAY), The World's Online Trading Community (TM).
Through this deal, users of IDG.net, IDG's Technology Directory, are now able to link directly to eBay and buy technology products they read about on IDG web sites – including handhelds/PDAs, notebooks, monitors and scanners, as well as enterprise computing products such as servers, switches and routers. The agreement encompasses promotional banner ads, print ads and web site sponsorships across eBay and IDG print and online properties.
