IDG Global Solutions Selects Transaction Media as Its Representative in Southeast Asia
FRAMINGHAM, MA – April 20, 2011 – IDG Global Solutions (IGS), which manages marketing programs for technology companies across 90 countries, has chosen Transaction Media Limited (TML) as its sole representative in Southeast Asia for IDG media brands and marketing services. TML today represents IGS in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand. Taiwan representation is effective June 22.
Under the agreement, TML will work with marketers and agencies on programs that span multiple countries in Southeast Asia. Michael Mullaney, vice president, US and Asia Pacific, IGS said: "The global presence of both IDG and TML will ensure that marketers have the advice and media properties to meet their business objectives." TML Managing Director Nitin Joshi will move from Taiwan to Singapore to oversee the new IGS business. Mullaney added: "Most of our multi-national customers in this region have their marketing headquarters in Singapore and Nitin will be instrumental in growing our business there."
Joshi, who founded TML eight years ago, is familiar with IDG and the technology marketplace. In the 1990's he served as a vice president with Reed Business, a sales partner of IDG in the UK at the time. "We plan to overachieve on client expectations with high-quality programs and excellent customer service."
