IDG World Expo Appoints Patty Caron as Vice President of Conference Brands; Caron responsible for Syndicate, Wireless Sensing Solutions and Digital ID World
FRAMINGHAM, MA – JANUARY 23, 2006 – IDG World Expo today announced the appointment of Patty Caron as Vice President, Conference Brands. In this role, Caron will be responsible for the overall growth and management of IDG World Expo's conference brands including Syndicate, Wireless Sensing Solutions, Digital ID World and any newly launched conferences. Caron was most recently at TechTarget as Vice President of Conferences where she was responsible for driving the conference brands as well as launching and developing new products.
Prior to TechTarget, Caron was Vice President/Media Director for Carat Face-to-Face where she worked with many of the major high tech companies to develop their event strategies. Caron has had extensive involvement over the years with CEMA where she has participated in panel discussions and given talks on event strategy. Caron also spent over 15 years at Digital as a marketing consultant.
