IDG World Expo Asia and The Singapore Economic Development Board Launch Global Entrepolis @ Singapore
BOSTON, MA – APRIL 8, 2003 – IDG World Expo Asia together with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) today announced the launch of Global Entrepolis @ Singapore, a unique forum for MNCs, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists to deal, trade and exchange ideas and technology, seek partners, and new markets. The inaugural event will be held October 27 – November 1, 2003 at the Suntec City Convention and Exhibition Center in Singapore.
Targeting more than 10,000 entrepreneurs, innovators, venture capitalists, senior corporate executives, with about 40 percent expected from the US, Europe, Japan, China, India, and the Asia Pacific region, the event will serve as a forum to exchange ideas and knowledge, discover technology, find partners, secure funds, and make deals.
Featuring more than ten events including: top-level strategic conferences, industry applications seminars, a venture capital summit, community entrepreneur fair and industry work shops, this event will honor Asia’s best innovations. The events will also include the Asia Innovation Awards, which will be presented at the event by the Far Eastern Economic Review.
