IDG’s CXO Media Appoints Ellen Daly To Vice President Of Executive Programs
FRAMINGHAM, MA – OCTOBER 10, 2005 – IDG’s CXO Media Inc., publisher of CIO, CSO and CMO magazines, announces the appointment of Ellen (Lakey) Daly to Vice President of Executive Programs. Daly, a proven leader in the technology, conference and publishing industries, will focus on developing and managing CXO's industry-leading executive conference business for the CIO, CSO and CMO brands and serve as a member of the CXO executive management team.

Daly brings more than 17 years of executive conference management experience to CXO Media. Most recently, Daly served as director, program strategy for The George P. Johnson Company, where she was responsible for driving maximum event effectiveness in the IBM Americas portfolio by ensuring each event deliver IBM’s campaign messaging. She also worked as a worldwide business relationship manager for The George P. Johnson Company, where she helped to develop global event investment plans, created integrated marketing campaigns and assembled a worldwide portfolio of events to best meet marketing and sales objectives. Previously she served as media director for Carat Face-to-Face, where she developed custom events and directed Carats core business of delivering strategic event marketing plans and portfolios to leading global technology companies. Prior to joining Carat, Daly held several positions including manager of business conference development at EMC Corporation where she designed custom programs and created high-level proprietary events. Daly began her managerial career in publishing, serving ten years at Inc. magazine in a variety of roles, including director of operations in charge of logistics, negotiations and marketing for several large conferences and more than 100 customized seminars.
