IDG’s PC World China Goes Weekly, Circulation Grows By 35% To Become Largest Weekly Computer Magazine In China
BOSTON, BEIJING, Mar. 24 — International Data Group, the world's leading information technology (IT) media, research and exposition company, today announced that its PC World China title, which recently increased its frequency from monthly to weekly in January, is experiencing record growth. It is the first PC World in IDG's global product line to be issued weekly.
The paid circulation for PC World China during 1997 increased dramatically, jumping from 78,000 to 105,000, a 35% increase, making it the largest weekly computer magazine in China.

Launched in 1985 and published by IDG's China Computerworld Publishing and Servicing Co., PC World China is a joint venture between IDG and the Electronic Data Group and the Electronic Technology Information Research Institute, which is part of China's Ministry of Electronics Industry.
