PC World and Macworld Hire Media Executive as Sales Vice President ; Future US VP Joins IDG Media Companies

SAN FRANCISCO – September 23, 2009 – Media executive Stacey Levy has joined Macworld and PC World as vice president of sales. In this new position, she will be responsible for sales across online and digital platforms.

For the past six years, Levy has held management positions at Future US including vice president/publishing director for technology and living sectors (Maximum PC and Mac|Life). Prior to Future US, she served in sales manager positions at Clear Channel and Ziff Davis Media (PC Computing).

Last May, Publishing Executive named Levy to its list of Top Women in Magazine Publishing. She offered advice in the issue saying, “Think of your magazine not as a one-dimensional print property, but a total brand upon which you’re continually building a larger, ever-growing community—a place where both readers and client partners know that they’re integral, relevant and valued.”

Levy began her career at Ketchum advertising in San Francisco where she was a media buyer and planner for five years.

She earned a communications degree at the University of California.
