The ”Golden Penguin Bowl” Pits Media Against Analysts at LinuxWorld Conference & Expo 2005 in Boston

FRAMINGHAM, MA – January 31, 2005 – IDG World Expo, the leading producer of world-class tradeshows, conferences and events for technology markets, today announced the return of the infamous "Golden Penguin Bowl" geek trivia game at LinuxWorld Conference & Expo(R) in Boston, taking place February 14-17, 2005 at the Hynes Convention Center. Attendance at the Golden Penguin Bowl is open to all LinuxWorld attendees and will take place Tuesday, February 15 at 4:30 p.m. on the main stage of the exhibit hall. This event has historically been a very popular and entertaining attraction involving the leading media and analysts in the Linux and Open Source industry.

Hosted by the always effervescent Jeremy Allison, Samba co-developer at HP, the Golden Penguin Bowl entertains and enlivens the LinuxWorld audience. This year the media is pitted against the analysts in the ultimate battle of the "Geeks" vs. the "Nerds." Attendees can play along to find out if it will be the "Geeks" or the "Nerds" who will be the next winners of the coveted Golden Penguin.
