Align your message natively with our editorial articles across IDG owned and operated sites and beyond. Using IDG 1st party data – premium data from our events, lead gen and digital interactions – and contextual targeting, we will deliver exponential scale across the broader web.

Promotional Impressions

  • Headline – 90 characters max (may implement up to 2 headlines per article for A/B testing)*
  • Preview Text – 200 characters max (including spaces)
  • Preview Image (may implement up to 2 images per article for A/B testing)*
    • File Formats & Size – PNG, JPG/200w x 133h (px)
  • Hosted Asset URLs (3 max)

*A/B Testing allows for 2 headlines OR 2 images per article promoted

  • 3rd Party Tracking (optional)
  • Tracking ad rendered pixel URL or HTML tracking code
  • Tracking Requirements – 1×1 impression tracker and/or clickthrough tracker
  • Accepted Tags (Ad Servers) – All accepted (i.e., DFA, Atlas, Media Mind)
  • Reporting Access – If billing off 3rd party numbers, IDG requires reporting access or an automated report provided weekly during campaign flight


Impression delivery and click tracking


  • Client provides 15-20 word copy, destination URL, and image
    • Each campaign is allowed a maximum of 3 links to be promoted – client can provide up to 5 headlines and 2 images per links.
  • IDG can provide copywriting services for supplied text which will include headline/optimization suggestions in order to grab the readers attention (contact your IDG sales representative for additional costs and details)

Program Schedule

Production Time: 1-2 weeks per campaign

Time In-Market: 1 month+
