Sue Yanovitch unites strategy, analytics and creativity in her role as Vice President of Marketing at IDG. With more than 20 years’ experience in tech media and marketing, Yanovitch is recognized for her leadership, research development, marketing and sales alignment practices and quest to understand how economic and technology trends impact customer habits, and in turn impact marketers. Under her leadership, the marketing team integrates branding, strategic communications, market and audience research, content marketing, and field marketing to enable our sales team to engage and educate tech marketers on the nuances of their target—IT and security decision-makers.
Yanovitch began her marketing career at IDG in 1990 as marketing manager and has held several marketing and sales development roles. She took a hiatus from IDG in 1998, and was the marketing director for Cahners Publishing where she was responsible for coalescing the marketing efforts for two groups of publications. She returned to IDG in 2000 as senior marketing director and has continued to embrace the opportunities brought by the rapid pace of change in both media and technology.
Yanovitch received an MBA from Babson College as well as a BA in English from Alfred University.
