Nick Barber is the online video producer for the IDG News Service and is based in Boston. He also hosts and co-produces World Tech Update, a recap of the week’s technology news and events.
Nick covers a wide variety of news and events in both consumer and enterprise markets with a particular interest in consumer electronics and prototypes. Prior to joining IDG he worked for an educational technology company in Atlanta and also covered the 2004 US presidential election for NBC.
In his spare time Nick enjoys exploring Boston, traveling, photography, wine and playing racquetball. He also enjoys volunteering and is a registered Emergency Medical Technician and a former CPR instructor.
A New Jersey native, Nick is a graduate of Boston University’s College of Communication.
